Ok foodie fans, Martha’s Vineyard Restaurant Week is back, and it is a true restaurant week. This means that over 20 Island restaurants are offering special prix fixe LUNCH and/or DINNER menus that make dining out more affordable for five days, Sunday, June 2nd thru June 6th.
What’s so exciting is that this gives restaurants the opportunity to have new customers experience their food. Folks who might not regularly eat there, have an exciting reason to try someplace new! Prices range from $20 to $45 dollars.
It’s also a chance for restaurants to try out some of their new menu options. With Memorial Day behind us, there is a bit of a lull during the week until schools are out.Why not have a little fun and make some great dishes for Islanders and those who are here for the season.
Martha’s Vineyard Restaurant Week: Dining Out Options
There are so many restaurants participating this year including Roxana Bar and Bettini Restaurant at the Harbor View Hotel (opening May 31st), Sweet Life Cafe, Detente, MV Chowder Company, Copper Wok, Waterside Market, La Soffitta, The Ritz, Town Bar & Grill, Edgartown Diner, L’etoile, Chef Deon’s at the VFW, Lucky Hank’s, Red Cat Kitchen, Oyster Bar 02557, Cardboard Box, Mikado, Garde East, 19 Raw Oyster Bar, 20 By Nine, Chesca’s. For a complete list, visit and the prix fixe menus visit the Restaurant Week webpage.
There are a number of new spots on the list, and this is a great time to check them out before the craziness of the Summer season, and have it be more affordable. Restaurant Week gives people the chance to have the full experience with some menus – an appetizer, main course and dessert — added bonus!
Also, some people will go to more than one during the week because of the deals! When I lived in Philadelphia, we would map out our week’s plans by what restaurants we were going too. I wonder if people will do the same here!
It’s great to see Martha’s Vineyard Restaurant Week back on the foodie scene! Cheers to the MV Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring this year’s event and looking forward to it becoming one of the most popular week’s on the Island!
