Isola is open for the season, and has a fresh approach to making nights in Edgartown fun. Since things are a little quiet still — though Summer is right around the corner — Isola is mixing it up a bit.
A number of dining tables have been removed, and a comfy couch and chairs were added instead, creating a cozy lounge area. The space is inviting, and perfect for a relaxing evening out.
If you’re out on a Saturday, you’ll find live music at Isola. Jesse McGrath is there with his guitar adding the the fun, lounge vibe. It’s nice to know that you can find live music this time of year. It’s a draw for a lot of people.
The restaurant is open Thursday – Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pizzeria menu is available, and there are specials too. You’ve got salads, sandwiches, pies and more.
If you haven’t had The Fun Guy, definitely give it a try. It features roasted crimini and portobello mushrooms, white truffle oil and spinach. One of my favorites!
It’s good to have options for going out this time of year. So many restaurants are still closed, and it’s nice to know there are fun things to do.
