JB and his team are always cooking up something new to keep our interest piqued. After Columbus Day, you’ll be able to get breakfast at Sharky’s in Edgartown. Yes, Sharky’s.
It’s going to start out small and only on Saturdays initially but as popularity grows, I bet the availability will too.
Why breakfast at Sharky’s? Well, it’s fun and kid friendly, and something different. I hadn’t been to Sharky’s in a while. When my friend and I went, we both agreed that the atmosphere was really fun.
The music, the staff, the whole vibe was upbeat, even at 9 a.m. in the morning. JB was hosting a test run to see how it would work, and if people were receptive. The place was pretty packed, so I would say that there is definitely interest.
The menu will include some classics like pancakes, granola with fruit, sausage, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. My friend and I both agreed that the hash browns were amazing. Crispy, fried tater tots are one of my favorite foods.
There will also be some specialty items like jalepeno muffins and Churros, which I caught JB serving up himself. The complete menu is still in the works. Hoping for huevos rancheros and perhaps a Mexican breakfast tostado.
Though I was not having a beverage, since this was the same day as the Martha’s Vineyard Craft Beer Festival, it’s nice to know that you could accompany your breakfast with a fun cocktail. Mimosas and pancakes are excellent companions.
When breakfast is hitting the menu, we’ll be sure to let you know. Breakfast at Sharky’s will be 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays. It will grow after the new year towards spring, to Saturday and Sunday, and then 7 days next summer. So, stay tuned for more details to come!
