For our team, it is a family affair, and pooch friendly too. Many people brought their kiddos, helping them learn the importance of keeping our beaches and waters clean.

This year’s clean-up crew was on point. We gathered eight large bags of trash from Bend in the Road Beach, a significant amount for the stretch of beach we did.

There were a lot of plastic bottles, nips, bags, fishing rope, and an large amount of balloon ribbons. The kids were especially shocked and a little saddened by all the trash we found.
