What a festive way to kick off the annual Christmas parade in Edgartown. A trio of the Martha’s Vineyard Teddy Bear Suite Big Bears, riding atop three MINI Cooper convertibles, led the Christmas In Edgartown parade down Main Street.
With children of all ages cheering and calling out the bears names, it was quite a sight.
The Big Bear MINI caravan was helmed by Point B volunteers and their families.
The Point B Realty volunteer crew included: Allison Savva with Asher and Brin; Guinevere Cramer with Anderson, Charly, and husband Matt.
And rounding out the three bear MINI caravan, were Jen O’Hanlon with her daughter Grace, Wendy Harman, and Riley Ward.
Then it was back to the Teddy Bear Suite for the big bears, where they were hugged and greeted by hundreds of visitors throughout the day.
The Teddy Bear Suite At The Harbor View Hotel Captain Rowley Cottage will remain open daily until December 28th. The annual holiday fundraiser supports the after school programs at the Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club. The goal this year is $12,000 and we’re more than halfway there.
