Whether you live on Martha’s Vineyard, own a second home here, or will be renting a vacation home this summer, tomorrow is the day advance car ferry reservations to the Vineyard go on sale. And prime summer travel times go quickly, so it’s a good idea to get ready.
The Steamship Authority begins taking online car ferry reservations Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. (January 17th). They will also begin processing mailed-in reservations, but note, phone reservations are NOT accepted until a week later.
Mandatory Ferry Reservation Periods
Advance car ferry reservations to Martha’s Vineyard are mandatory this year for all Fridays through Mondays from June 22 to September 3, 2012.
